‘All You Can Art’, the project by Instituto Buena Bista (IBB) and Kunsthal Rotterdam, was awarded the &Award during the ‘Beeld & Storm’ conference on the 10th of December 2018 in The Netherlands.

The &Award is an award for an organization that (successfully) took steps to make the culture and creative sector more inclusive. ‘All You Can Art’ is the first project to receive this prize. Jury chairperson Noraly Beyer notes: “Everyone gets a chance to participate, make art and discover together in All You Can Art. Activities such as a summerschool, exhibition, ateliers, think tanks and going into neighborhoods have made an enormous impact. Through this it seizes in briljant fashion its social role in the field of diversity and inclusion”.

‘All You Can Art’ was started in 2016 as a co-operation between IBB and Kunsthal Rotterdam as a new take on the mission of IBB. It’s been growing and evolving every year since. Set up in the biggest hall of the museum the exhibition and social project is a combination of artist ateliers, summerschool, social projects and the IBB vibe in Rotterdam.
IBB staff, alumni and former artists in residence form the core of the exhibition and have working ateliers in the hall, and the projects at the social locations. Visitors to the museum and the exhibition are free to participate with any of the projects going on during the exhibition–from working with the artists to freely working on a public mural, or participating in think tanks. Summer school participants experience the IBB work style through a course where they work together with the artists in the museum, but also on location during social projects.

During ‘All You Can Art 3’ in 2018 OpenRotterdam made a collection of visual reports on the exhibition and its social projects. For this overview please check out this link: https://goo.gl/8RFxTt
