Tim Breukers (Breda, The Netherlands; 1985) was resident at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, European Ceramic Work Centre (EKWC), MMCA Seoul, CARF Kolkata and Bus Projects Melbourne.
Through sculpture, installation and collage I try to make new meaningful connections between material, culture and myself. Important roles are played by: humor, scale, story and sculptural techniques versus DIY solutions. I am convinced that art helps to balance our lives. That our lives help art to become human and truthful.
At IBB I want to bring my role as advisor or workshop leader closer to my sculptural practice.
