On Tuesday June 18, 2019 we had the honor to congratulate four of our students with their graduations from the preparatory course at IBB. These four students completed at least two years at IBB and leaned a wide breadth of skills both artistic and academic.

The four students graduating this year are:

Lakisha Apostel – Fine Arts, Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague

Yuteni Martis – Product Design, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht

Rachel Clements – Fashion Design, Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam

Enrique Burgos – Fine Arts, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht

After the ceremony the attending guests were able to see a collection of works made by the graduating students.

During the ceremony current artist in residence Wouter Osterholt gave an overview of the project he’s currently developing on Curacao. He’s looking at the sargassum problem from both an ecological and artistic viewpoint.
