On March 10th and 11th Instituto Buena Bista (IBB) “The Curacao Center for Contemporary Art” joins Open Atelier Route 2018 and opens its doors to the public. Everyone is welcome to come see our students and staff at work.
During this weekend you will have the opportunity to meet our team, learn about the institute and converse with co-founder David Bade, as well as get a live demonstration from our students on what it’s like to be part of the IBB program. You will be able to visit the ateliers of both the staff and the students and see what they are working on at this moment.
If you’re a talented youth who wants to develop yourself so you can pursue a career in the artistic or creative fields, let us know! We’ll schedule an intake meeting with you and maybe you can also become an IBB student.
Date: Saturday March 10 and Sunday March 11 2018
Time: 10:00 to 17:00
Place: Mohikanenweg 8 (on the terrain of Klínika Capriles)
On these days it will also be possible to make a (anonymous) donation to the institute. All donations are used to fuel our social projects and to make it possible that lack of money is not a hurdle for talented youth who want to prepare for their future. So every guilder counts! We also have a friends of IBB program that you can receive more information about from our staff.
If you aspire to become an artist, desire to work in the creative field or want to support local arty and creative youth IBB is the place to be this weekend. Don’t miss it!
