IBB co-founder Tirzo Martha is participating this year in one of the side programs of the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
He will be exhibiting his work titled ‘Testament of Hope And Failure’ in the ‘Black Rebels’ program of the IFFR.
‘Black Rebels’ seeks to shine a spotlight on films, documentaries, tv-series, and art from and about black people resisting the continuing cultural divide. Tirzo’s work will be open to the public starting the 26th of January 2017, from 11:00 till 20:30. It, and the other works shows, will be available for viewing till February 4th.
On the 29th of January there is a panel discussion titled ‘Minding the Gap’ where the participating artists, directors and other invitees will discuss how they navigate the cultural divide. This panel debate will be at the Schouwburg Rotterdam Kleine Zaal, Schouwburgplein 25.
