Haven’t been to the IBB yet? Interested in what the IBB has to offer you? Or maybe you’re just curious to see what goes on in there? Well here’s your chance! Because the IBB 2016 OPEN HOUSE is just around the corner.
Who should come?
Students curious about the arts or who are interested in pursuing a career in the arts.
Parents of creative and or artistic beings.
Teachers, mentors and others who play an active role in lives of young creative minds.
And of course anyone else who’s interested to come take a look at what bubbles on the grounds of the island’s very own center for contemporary art.
When?
Saturday, April 2nd 2016 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where?
Mohikanenweg 8
(On the terrain of Klinika Capriles)
Why?
First of all you get to see the work and results of the IBB students, including four(4) very talented portfolio ladies who are currently in the process of finishing their portfolios so they can apply for admission with several art academies in the Netherlands – you should totally come meet them!
Then of course you can see work of the IBB tutors, and also works of the current AKI academy interns; Karel Leusink, Joris Strouken and Kristel Geerts.
We’ll be showing teasers of the upcoming movie ‘Heart of a Monster’, which is a production of the IBB with CIFFR and filmmaker Damian Marcano (from Trinidad).
You can also experience the ‘State of the Art’ in the process of AIRs Marieke van Rooy and Domenico Mangano.
And last but certainly not least, you can also be witness to some extraordinary performances showcasing the student’s results of the workshops with Pepón Osorio (from Puerto Rico).
As always, the IBB team will be there to share our vision and converse with you, give you guides and of most certainly also to entertain you with all our energy and creative vibes.
See you Saturday!
