The Director of the Kunsthal Rotterdam has the pleasure of inviting you to the launch of ‘All you can Art 2’.

This summer the Instituto Buena Bista (IBB) Curaçao is returning for its second visit to the Kunsthal with such successful ingredients as the Summer School and Think Tanks. All you can Art 2 is an exhibition and open studio combined in which everyone has the opportunity of following the tried and tested master-apprentice model of learning how to make art from practising artists. The IBB founders and artists David Bade and Tirzo Martha will be in the studio every day together with various social practice artists to make new works with the public and Summer School students. Works made in the studio will be given a place in the exhibition and will make All you can Art 2 a social growth sculpture in progress!

On the evening of Friday 16 June All you can Art 2 will open with a Think Tank on Engagement. Where does engagement begin and end? The partners in this joint project Stichting Laurens (care for the elderly), Het Zuiderpark College (advanced secondary professional education) and Antes (psychiatry and care for addicts) will go into the subject and discuss how engagement is a part of their organisation.
Join in thinking with us about engagement in general and about the role that art can play in it!

The artists and Summer School students from All you can Art 2 will get to grips with the statements that emerge from the Think Tank. They will work with residents, students and patients in extra workshops on location with the partners in the project. There will be scope for exchange of information, stories, cultures and skills.
The Think Tank will conclude in a festive Caribbean mood with the Zuiderpark Brassband and performances by Roxette Capriles together with Summer School students.
