During the course of his stay at the IBB artist Koen Delaere also did a project with the IBB students. They were to make a cooperative mural on the walls of the institute. Here they were allowed to use non conventional techniques like applying paint using random objects or body parts of the painter. They were also to experiment with different paces of working. Eventually they also had to experiment with their pace, colors and learning to work abstractly instead of the figurative they have been used to up until this point.
