Situations: proposals for exchange
Once I was called a ‘Live Wire’. I like this comparison, in my work I try to intensify moments of exchange. I create situations: meetings and proposals for action in a space designed by me with a specific duration. The active participation of the other plays an important role in these situations; group processes and collaboration also define the realization of my work. I activate actions related to cultural patterns of behaviour or social processes; in addition to that I use objects, installations and scripts that determine the structure of a staged situation. Therefore I use the word performance art less and less, over the years I have increasingly focused on work that moves between installation, object and live art.
